PRE SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
Pragnya Global School is a strong believer in the value of Pre-School education and has built up a very attractive Nursery Department that caters for children from age three to five years. The school has adopted its own curriculum and methodology, whereby children learn through the play way method, with no formal instruction or text books. Our pre-primary children blossom in a nurturing environment. Two class teachers and a lady support staff for each section caters to individual needs of the little ones. Sensory development and environmental studies approach to learning makes our curriculum holistic and child-centric. Hands-on activities like music and dance are provided with opportunities for each child to maximize his/her potential in a comfortable and non-competitive environment. The most impressionable age in a child's life is the pre-primary age. At this age, the development of the child is rapid and they absorb almost all that is taught to them. The onus, therefore, is on the adults to impart knowledge that would help the child develop good habits, proper attitudes and an inquisitive mind. Our Kindergarten offers the Montessori approach to learning that helps the young child inculcate knowledge, skills and confidence, thus giving them a firm foundation. Each classroom of Nursery and KG is well equipped with educational toys and audio and video learning resources. Story telling sessions, including a vast array of fairy tales take them to a world of joy and constructive learning. The play area has been planned to provide maximum fun while ensuring safety through specially designed slides and splash pool and a rubber foam tiled floor. The curriculum for Nursery and KG takes care of the development of personal, social,behavioural, intellectual, communicative and motor skills. Language skills are developed in the order of Learning, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Learning at this stage is experiential, fun & activity based. The pedagogical processes followed are based on developmentally appropriate methods with multiple teaching and learning strategies. The child is the central figure and an active participant in the teaching learning process. Children enjoy the freedom to explore, express, create and interact within their environment and gain knowledge.
